What is InspectAssets

Purpose

InspectAssets is an enterprise inspection and asset condition platform that helps organisations plan inspections, capture consistent findings, and turn inspection history into operational insight.

Who this is for

  • Leaders evaluating an inspection platform for multiple teams or regions
  • Operations managers who need consistent inspection execution and reporting
  • Admin teams setting up tenants, roles, sites, assets, and templates
  • Inspectors and supervisors who need a guided workflow in the app

What the platform does

InspectAssets is designed around a few core capabilities:

Organise your environment

  • Separate organisations using tenants
  • Manage users, roles, and access permissions
  • Structure your operational footprint using sites and assets

Run inspections consistently

  • Plan and assign inspections
  • Conduct inspections using templates (standardised fields)
  • Capture results, notes, and evidence (including photos where enabled)

Review, report, and improve

  • Track inspection completion and outcomes
  • Analyse asset health patterns over time
  • Export reports for operational review and audit readiness

How users experience the product

After login, users see a left-side menu based on their permissions. Common menus include:

  • Dashboard
  • Inspection Management
  • Conduct Inspection (inspectors and authorised users)
  • Site Management
  • Asset Management
  • Asset Insights
  • Report Management
  • Profile Settings
  • Account Management (billing users)
  • Tenant Configurations (tenant admins)

If a user cannot see a menu they need, a tenant admin should review their role permissions.

What this documentation contains

This documentation is split into:

  • Public documentation: overview, concepts, and safe high-level guidance
  • Private role guides: step-by-step instructions that match what users see after login

Need step-by-step instructions? If you already have access to the app, open the Role Guides in the private documentation area (requires login).
